My baby boy is 17. Yea 17 yrs old. I am a little late on posting his Birthday, sorry Bubba. His Bday is on the 26th of December. He weighed 6lbs 2oz. Tiny little squirt. He has brought so much laughter into our lives. Thank You Bubba!
One of my favorite stories about him is...We went to the beach one October break, with some friends, as Zac and myself were telling Alec (Bubs friend) a story about the last time we were at the beach, it goes something like this...Zac and I were sitting on the beach and the lifeguard truck comes screaming down the sand, the lifeguard jumps out with his little floater and dives in the water. I look at Zac and say "how embarrassing, the lifeguard has to go save someone." Zac is laughing, looks over and says "Mom, hes saving Bubba". Yea my baby had to be saved by the lifeguard. Did we run out there to see if everything was ok? Naw, we acted like we didn't know him. (Bubs was in the 4th grade)
As we told Alec that story not more than 10 mins later Alec says "hey is that Bubba having to be saved AGAIN?" Yea, once again my baby was being saved, this time by a surfer. There he was, holding onto the surfboard as the surfer swam him in. Needles to say, Bubba is not a ocean swimmer. He now stays close to shore. (Bubs was in the 5th grade)
